Greenpro India Consultants pvt ltd., was awarded the responsibility of preparing the Master Plan of the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan-Zoo by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Based on a concept of ‘Dynamic Earth’, the Master Plan includes species from India, S-E Asia, Australia & Africa. With a variety of indigenous & exotic species, the Mumbai zoo on completion will set standards for all the upcoming & proposed modern zoos that are conforming with International Standards
In the Master Plan, we have integrated the following aspects:
• Creating a native habitat for the animals
• Various value additions for Animal Enrichment and affiliated programs
• Enhancement of the visitor experience, Education and Leisure facilities
• Adherence to the Central Zoo Authority requirements and guidelines
• Preservation & Conservation Account for the heritage structures, the rare and significant trees
