Celebrate the Triumph of Good Over Evil; Happy Dussehra!
Once again it that time of the year when we all celebrate the victory of good over evil. Once again it’s time for Ravan Dahan. Once again it Dussehra!!
Dussehra is also called as Vijayadashmi as it is a festival of celebrating ‘Vijay’ meaning victory ‘Dashmi’ meaning 10th day of Hindu lunar calendar.
On this day Lord Rama had won the battle against Ravan and saved Sita. This also the day when Lord Rama, brother Lakshman and wife Sita had returned to the kingdom of Ayodhya after their 14 years exile. Hence people celebrate this day joyously to celebrate the return of their humble king.
Greenpro India wishes all its patrons a happy Dussehra. Every year on Dussehra we wish for god to take away all our sorrows and pain. We wish for God to scare away our enemies and fight our battles. This year let us pray collectively and ask god to give us strength to fight the evils of society. Let us be a little less selfish and work for a better society ourselves, because after all God helps those who help themselves.
The ten headed demon king not only indicates the various evils prevailing in the society but within ourselves. Feelings live jealousy, malice, doubt, greed and actions like theft, causing harm to others, lying etc are the evils inside all of us. We must constantly work towards diminishing these actions and feelings in order to completely eradicate the evils of community, as in the end individuals only make up a community.
